City of Anaheim Awards RFP Contract to Leverage for Overt Surveillance Camera System

The City of Anaheim issued an RFP seeking proposals to develop their “Overt Surveillance Camera System.”  This multi-phase project is intended to provide surveillance cameras at various public venues throughout the city.  Phase 1 is considered a pilot project at three city parks for a cost of $468,000.00.  Phase 2 of the project has plans to incorporate surveillance cameras from City Hall, Police Department Facilities, Honda Center, Anaheim Convention Center, Angel Stadium, Public Libraries, Water Utility Facilities, Muzeo Museum and Cultural Center, Air Support Assets and the Public Works Operations Yard.  A third phase is planned to incorporate video cameras from public schools and private businesses.  Leverage Information Systems was found to be uniquely qualified to meet the demanding requirements of the RFP and was awarded the contract.  Leverage’s patented Peer-to -Peer Surveillance Network Architecture along with their DETECT Video Management Software and their long standing reputation in the industry were decisive factors in the decision making process.
