Charter Oaks School District to Share Surveillance Cameras with Covina Police Department

The City of Covina and the Charter Oaks School District are working together to enhance public safety and improve response capabilities for both the district and the community.  Leverage Information Systems has been awarded the contract to provide surveillance system cameras for the Charter Oaks School District campuses.  Leverage is already the vendor of choice for the City of Covina having installed a surveillance camera system for the Police Department and downtown area back in 2014.  The new cameras at the school district will be integrated into the city’s surveillance system platform already provided by Leverage.  The additional cameras extend the reach of the existing system while at the same time enhancing safety and security at the schools.
