Parks
Audio Intervention
When audio intervention is combined with a surveillance system, nuisance crimes can be dealt with almost immediately without having an officer respond. As an example, say you have a park that closes at dark but is a favorite hang-out for local juveniles. As soon as the first juveniles appear, a dispatcher can make an announcement over the PA speaker and the group will usually disperse immediately.
Thermal Intrusion Detection
Thermal Intrusion Detection adds a layer of intelligent response to any video surveillance system. These special sensors read the heat signature of objects entering the field of view. The sensor is capable of identifying the geo-coordinates of objects in the field of view. Parameters are adjusted to fit the target criteria. These devices are sensitive enough to know the difference between a dog running across the field or a human. PTZ cameras can be programmed to respond to alarm conditions triggered by these thermal intrusion sensors.
Infrared Pan-Tilt-Zoom Cameras
These cameras are a special breed capable of turning darkness into light over incredible distances. They are equipped with an optical zoom up to 55x and an infrared illuminator with a range of up to 500 meters. The illuminator interacts with the zoom level of the camera. As the zoom increases the infrared beam narrows to provide infrared light to the field of view. These cameras provide clear detailed images during any time of the day or night enhancing the safety and security for the citizens who share the park.
