City of Corona Awards “City Unified Camera System” to Leverage

The City of Corona has awarded Leverage Information Systems with the contract to implement their City Unified Camera System.  The city believes that by unifying all city cameras under one platform it will create a level of consistency for all camera hardware and maintenance.  This unified camera management system must be available to all current users as well as allowing the Police Department to view and record events for investigative purposes.  Leverage Information Systems met all of the stringent requirements listed in the city’s RFP and was awarded the multi-million dollar contract over a 5 year term.

Leverage’s successful track record of similar deployments in the area using their patented Peer-to-Peer Surveillance Architecture, DETECT VMS, and outstanding customer support were key factors in the decision making process.  The initial project includes a Surveillance Network Infrastructure, Core Networking and Video Storage as well as the integration of over 450 existing cameras deployed throughout the city.  The initial phase has a cost of over $1.5 Million and is expected to include multiple phases over the next five years.
