The City of Los Angeles selected Leverage Information Systems to unify existing surveillance camera assets in the Venice Beach area. The Department of Parks and Recreation developed a project to improve public safety in the area primarily of the boardwalk and the pier. Unifying the existing surveillance cameras so they performed reliably was a key focus of the project. Leverage was uniquely instrumental in unifying these assets. Leverage’s patented Peer-to-Peer architecture and their DETECT software was also key factors in the process along with their well established track record of successful deployments of municipal surveillance systems.
